ST. JOHN’S (Niantic) J2A

Look at your schedules and see how April 13th – 14th looks for Nightwatch!  Both J2A and YACs are invited.

The Cathedral of St. John the Divine cancelled Nightwatch for 2/9.    We will reschedule – look at your calendars for 3/23 (JH) or 3/30 (JH) or 4/13 (SH) or 4/20 (SH). 

J2A Youth will be going to Nightwatch on February 9th and 10th. We are meeting at the church at 3:00.  We will return around 5pm on Saturday.  Youth should bring snacks, sleeping bags, personal items, clean clothes, pj’s, a little money for pizza and events in NYC.  A complete list can be found in the brochure on page two: click here for the brochure http://www.stjohndivine.org/documents/0607NW.pdf

All Rite-13, J2A, and YAC youth are invited to the SuperBowl Party at Everett’s on Sunday at 6.  Bring your own soda, juice, or water.  Pizza will be provided as will some snack food.  See you there!

Bishop Curry is visiting with us today.  Some of the classes will attend the adult forum with Bishop Curry rather than meet in their classroom.  The Bishop will meet with the YACs during the Confirmation Class, which is held immediatley after their regular YAC Class.

YACs and J2A Youth!  Your fee of $40 is due by Sunday, January 28th to attend Nightwatch.  There may be an additional fee for food.

Nightwatch for J2A and YACs is being planned for Friday, February 9th through February 10th. We will be spending the night at The Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City. The cost for Nightwatch is $40 per person. The cost for food and transportation will be announced soon.

On Souper Bowl Sunday, February 4th, the J2A youth will take up a collection for the hungry after each service.

Would anyone like to host a SuperBowl Party for the J2A Youth? Snack food has already been purchased.
