Our Lock-In is scheduled for April 27th-28th. We will make dinner together, then prepare for the Rite-13 Ceremony. Lots of games and activities! Come and bring a friend!
The Pancake Supper on Tuesday, Feb.20thwas a huge success. This event was run by the Rite-13 youth! It was a great way to get together, help each other prepare pancakes, set-up tables, clean-up, raise a little money and have fun! We raised almost $400.
If you are a 6th or 7th grader and would like to meet with other youth your age to talk about Christian solutions to your issues, come join us! We also have a lot of fun activities, like sleepovers at church, hikes on the boardwalk, ultimate frisbee, foosball, and more!
The Rite-13 class currently has 10 members who are currently in grades 6 or 7. We meet in the Library on the second floor of the Parish Hall immediately after the 10am service with their leaders Scott and Elizabeth. We have youth are from these neighboring schools: East Lyme, Waterford, Old Lyme. Classes run from 11:15 till 12:00.
On Sunday, May 13th, we will have a special ceremony during the 10 A.M. service to celebrate the members of this class who have recently turned 13 years of age, an important milestone in their Journey to Adulthood.
